Jicama Chilaquiles With Salsa Verde Sauce & Marinade

INGREDIENTS:

  • HEROICA! Salsa Verde Superfood Sauce & Marinade
  • Jicama, fresh
  • Onion, organic, chopped
  • Cilantro, fresh, organic, chopped – for garnish
  • Avocado, sliced – for garnish
  • Homemade Cashew Cream – to serve. Ingredients:
    • 6 oz raw Cashews, organic
    • 1/4 cup raw Pine nuts
    • 1 Tablespoon unsweetened coconut yogurt
    • 1/2 garlic clove
    • 1 Tablespoon water
    • 1 1/2 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
    • 1 ½ teaspoons Apple cider vinegar
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 4 oz unsweetened coconut milk
    • 1/4 Tablespoon chopped onion

PROCEDURE:

Cashew Cream

  1. Blend all ingredients in a powerful blender until smooth.

 

Chilaquiles

  1. Remove the skin from the jicama with a knife. Cut the jicama into small triangles or whatever shape you like.
  2. Place the jicama on a plate.
  3. Cover the jicama with HEROICA! Salsa Verde Sauce & Marinade. You can serve it cold or warm it up.
  4. Serve with chopped onion, avocado slices, cashew cream, and cilantro.
